The Machining Conventional Section is equipped to handle diverse machining tasks with precision and efficiency. The section houses 9 lathe machines that are used in-house for pre-machining operations and tool room activities. This setup supports initial shaping, sizing, and tooling requirements. Additionally, the section features a Special Purpose Machine (SPM) specifically designed for heavy drilling applications. This advanced machine is capable of drilling up to 600mm deep and can achieve a drill size of 90mm in a single pass, ensuring fast and accurate processing of large components.
